FUN will be compulsory at next Friday’s Giddy Up Twilight Trivia event run by the Rotary Club of Coffs Harbour Daybreak, with organisers planning to penalise those not having fun.
Joint masters of ceremony David Schama and Loretta Rigby said: “People will be fined for not having enough fun, for using smart phones and for not having smart phones”.
“People should bring their wallets and their sense of humour as we’ll be awarding points for funny trivia answers,” David said.
Lots of prizes have been assembled for the best race day outfit or racing-themed costume, the best dressed table and for the winning tables.
The racing theme is explained by the location of Giddy Up Twilight Trivia at Coffs Harbour Racing Club.
Among the charity auction items is a very special bottle of wine, a Pet Porpoise Pool gold pass, beachbodies gym membership for a year and for racing buffs, a table and entry package for 10 lucky racegoers to the Coffs Harbour Gold Cup.
Tables will seat 10 and tickets cost $20 each, which includes finger food and can be bought at Coffs Harbour Racing Club or by phoning 6652 1488.
Giddy Up Twilight Trivia starts at 6.30pm on Friday, May 14 and all proceeds will be donated to Lifeline North Coast.
