IF you enjoy getting on your motorbike and cruising through the Coffs Coast region, then this is the club for you.
The newly reformatted Coffs Motorcycle Club is calling for participants who enjoy getting out on the open road and enjoying a view.
The former Coffs Harbour Motorcycle Club consisted of mainly sports bike riders and ‘hoons’, something organiser Mark Danaher is keen to keep separate from the new club.
The aim is to bring people together to have fun in a safe riding environment, all the while enjoying the magnificent Coffs Coast.
Mark said the club was for everyone – any level of rider with any type of bike, of any size or style.
Rides will be held on the first Sunday of every month, with events including weekends away, family barbecues and bike shows, all part of the new club’s vision.
The main reason for changing the goals and feeling of the former club was to attract more people from a larger range of backgrounds and lifestyles, all holding a common love – motorbikes.
“As soon as I start getting some interest we’ll plan the first meeting,” Mark said.
“Anyone’s who’s got a bike is more than welcome, and as there are no membership fees and no pressure, you can show up as you like, when it suits you.”
