“This new resort is fantastic - nearby to beaches, golf courses and the town centre. It’s the perfect place to stay and enjoy all the delights of the region,” Layne said.
“It was lovely to arrive in Coffs Harbour this morning to the pristine weather and beautiful surroundings,” said Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific’s CEO and Managing Director, Barry Robinson.
“Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific is proud to be able to add to the slice of heaven that is Coffs Harbour, which attracts visitors from many regions.
"WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham has 43,000 owners across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji who will be keen to come and visit their new resort.”
The all-apartment resort constructed adjacent to the golf course of Pacific Bay resort, was designed with quality and comfort in mind and will become part of the vacation ownership club, WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham.
The apartments range from standard through to presidential suites offering guests the type of accommodation to suit their requirements. All guests can enjoy the resort’s features including heated pool and spa, gym, barbecue area and easy access to the golf course.
Presidential suites boast luxurious features and finishes, including a Nintendo Wii, an espresso coffee maker and a five-speaker Bose system.
The resort was constructed by Kempsey builder Lahey Constructions Pty Ltd and generated considerable local employment during its two-year construction period. The $26 million development will continue to contribute to Coffs Harbour’s economy as it attracts new tourism visitation to the region.
