Coffs pair share in North Coast success

CRICKET: Coffs Cost players Sam Anderson and Luke Hickey helped North Coast to victory in the final of 2010 under-16 years State Challenge played at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) recently.

The North Cost beat Bankstown by two runs in a thrilling match that pits the winners of Country Cricket NSW’s Bradman Cup against the winners of the Sydney Cricket Association’s AW Green Shield.

The contest was a Twenty20 match and was the first time it had been played at the SCG.

North Coast made 7-168 in its innings with Anderson, from the Diggers club, making an unbeaten 20 from just eight deliveries faced.

Hickey is a member of the Urunga club.
