A TOP class field has registered for the West Coffs XXXX Gold Masters Triples to be played at the Coffs Harbour Catholic Club from July 3-5.
The field includes a team skipped by international Rowan Brassey, one of the world’s top bowlers, as well as Australian champions and teams who have played for Ireland, South Africa and Japan.
The players will be vying for a prize pool of more than $15,000, with five games each of 21 ends played over the three days. Presentations will be made on Sunday, July 5 at the conclusion of the fifth game.
Brassey has a top team with Neil Burnett, a South African international, and Andrew Todd a Premier League player.
There is also Jeremy Henry from Ireland, who is teamed with John Delahunty and Geoff McGilvray.
They will do battle with 42 teams, including last year’s winner Shane Garvey, who will skip a new team for this year’s event.
Play starts at 9.30am each day, with a game morning and afternoon on Friday and Saturday and the final game on Sunday morning.
The event at the Catholic Club will provide a great opportunity for the public to see this top field in action - entry is free.
