Coffs Harbour Netball
THE Coffs Harbour Netball Association (CHNA) is looking forward to the new year ahead.
Club registrations begin with the seniors next Wednesday, February 1, with the juniors taking place Saturday, February 4.
The registrations will be held at the Vost Park Netball Courts.
Interested players can visit www.chna.netball.asn.au for times and more information.
Representatives from all local clubs will be there with information on the season ahead and uniforms for sale.
In other news, the CHNA would like to thank all their sponsors in 2011 and look forward to continuing the relationship into the New Year.
Following the success of local competitions, representative teams and the extensive media coverage afforded to netball nationally, regionally and locally this year, they have tailored their sponsorship program to enable companies to choose a level of sponsorship to best suit their needs and budgets.
"We, at Coffs Harbour Netball believe that our sponsors should get as much out of the sponsorship as we do, and feel that our sponsorship program does just that," spokesperson Lauryn Nicholls said.
"Any business or individual interested in our sponsorship packages can contact me on 0413 952 739," she said.
The representative squad beg- ins their 2012 training Monday, January 30 and players are advised to contact their coach if unsure of times.
CHNA also recently held their first fundraising raffle for 2012 season. The prize was generously donated by Lee Winkler and was two group lessons for six people.
"Congratulations to our winners who were both locals, Rudi and Ian," Ms Nicholls said.
"Ian gave his prize to his granddaughter, Gemma, and Rudi generously donated his to the Salvation Army who in turn organised four girls to try surfing."
