Coffs club second in NSW Country triathlon title

05 May 10 | LAST Saturday a contingent of 78 from the Coffs Harbour Triathlon Club competed in the Triathlon NSW Club Championships in Port Stephens where they achieved excellent results.

26 Feb 10 | COFFS Harbour Triathlon Club has six members heading across the Tasman next week to race in Ironman New Zealand at Lake Taupo on March 6. About 1500 athletes from more than 40 countries will compete in the gruelling 3.8km swim, 180km bike ride and 42.2km run, with many vying for a coveted spot in the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii later in the year. |

Excellent results for Coffs triathletes

25 Feb 10 | COFFS Harbour Triathlon Club members achieved excellent results in Sunday’s Trial Bay Triathlon at South West Rocks. The club was well represented by 58 athletes and was prominent at the awards presentation following the race. Melissa Bulloch, Lyn Fulton and Kath Porter all won their age category.

Luke’s lonely victory run

18 Feb 10 | BALLINA’S Luke Harrison experienced the loneliness of the long-course triathlete in this year’s edition of the Hiawatha Half-Ironman Triathlon held recently in the Wooli-Minnie Water area. Harrison followed up a fifth place across the line at the Hell-Of-The-West Triathlon in Goondiwindi with an all-the-way win in the Woolgoolga Running And Triathlon Squad’s event.

Tri club mixes it up with new formats

03 Dec 09 | COFFS Harbour Triathlon Club’s most recent event was a race with a difference, comprising five legs instead of the normal three. A huge turnout of 75 competitors lined up for the mixed format of a 2.5km run, 10km bike ride and 750m swim, finishing with another bike lap and 2.5km run, with many impressive results at both ends of the field.

29 Oct 09 | COFFS Harbour Triathlon Club was well represented in the recent Ironman World Championship event held in Kona, Hawaii. Tens of thousands of triathletes try to get one of the coveted ironman spots every year. Only 1800 succeeded in 2009, three of them were from Coffs Harbour.

Clayton cruises to Woolgoolga triathlon win

01 Oct 09 | AFTER the blustery, dust-filled winds and choppy seas of Saturday, event organisers were pleased to find Sunday morning with perfect conditions for the Woolgoolga Community Triathlon. Record field set for Woolgoolga triathlon

25 Sep 09 | WOOLGOOLGA Community Triathlon organisers are preparing to host their biggest ever field when the 2009 edition is held on Sunday. A host of triathletes from Sydney, Brisbane and western NSW are expected to swell numbers when the field sets out on the 800m swim, 30km cycle and 8km run course at 7am.
