The 19-year-old woman died in Orange Base Hospital this morning, a hospital spokeswoman said and the man, also 19, who had been sleeping next to her died this afternoon.

Police said the pair were among a group of about 30 youngsters, all old school friends, who had gathered for a party at a property at Molong, north-west of Orange, on Monday night.

Canobolas Local Area Command duty officer Peter Atkins said yesterday that most of the group had camped there for the night near their cars.

Inspector Atkins said a 17-year-old boy was moving his ute just before dawn yesterday and accidentally ran over the two teens

The 17-year-old was talking to police yesterday. Inspector Atkins said alcohol was not believed to have been a factor.

He said police had finished examining the area where the accident occurred and would begin speaking to witnesses today.
